Thanks for sharing your experience. I was fortunate enough to gain insight into the LGBTQ+ community through talks, work, and studies in college. It provided me with a valuable perspective. 

I must say, I have nothing but respect for parents conveying their beliefs to their children, beliefs they hold dear, while safeguarding their health.
