 Yes, great book indeed.

Writing off therapy at the first option is not the codes.
People only know what they know and getting help is a huge first step
The first option should always be the free option that you can do on your own. If you can’t solve things on your own, then seeking help is the natural next step.

A lot of the mental health we see today results from a lack of exercise, sun exposure, and human connection. If a farmer that works outside all day and has a tight community gets depressed, then by all means, he should go see a doctor, but that’s not the average person that’s overweight, chronically online and inside, and lacks human connection IRL
you’ve got an action plan that works for you. Happy for you.

there is no one way for everybody is what I’m saying.

A professional can assess the individual and provide the best advice for that situation. It might be minor or major steps.
No man. You’re thinking best case scenario. Most of these psychiatric doctors are drug pushers who are going to be quick to recommend a pharmaceutical intervention. Putting your mental health care solely in the hands of a professional is very naive.
I went back for second round of drugs and they said nah you’re fine 😂

A little less corrupted she was🤙🏽
