It took me such a long time to stop buying (into) useless shit. Quite hard in the beginning.

The older I get, the more I make, the less I buy. Feels great. 

 Heh, exactly the same for me. It's at the point where just knowing I *could* buy something is almost as good as actually buying it. 😏
