I've cut meals down to two a day (lunch (1130 usually) and dinner (between 1600 and 1800) in what I guess you could call a 16:8 fast but I'm afraid skipping the lunch (11:30) would make it hard to concentrate at work. What's your experience there?
Maybe im weird but when I’m hungry im more focused/sharp. I just keep my stomach filled with water/coffee and its not too bad
I also find it gets easier when your body gets used to it
salami in the fridge to snack on helps with the initial transition if you’re not used to it, instead of lunch just have a few bites of protein to get you through the bump. Eventually you won’t need it though
The greatest thing about OMAD is that one meal tastes 3x better for some reason. There’s a huge dopamine release when you eat food that most people have forgotten about. Its amazing.
You also make the effort to make it a better meal
Thanks, maybe I just need to try it for a little while and see if it works for me.
Is your OMAD in the morning?
 1500 to 1700
I’ve been playing around with moving it to the morning, but early dinner (family meal) works socially which is a big benefit.
I have read it's evolutionarily advantages to be more alert when fasting to assist with hunting and aquiring your next meal.

"that’s what we’re finding in lab animals — the brain and body actually perform better during fasting. In the case of the brain, cognitive function, learning, memory, and alertness are all increased by fasting. "
