I'm always shocked when I hear there are sill people who think we're on a gold standard. Then, I remember being there myself once. It really only takes one quick look at the FEDs balance sheet (even when I first did more than 20 years ago) to realize how incompatible a gold standard would be.

If you can zap mike@mikehardcastle.com then it's probably a client issue. If you can't then it's most likely an Albyhub issue. Can you try the above LN address? I am generally receiving Zaps atm. Thanks

Hmmm. I was unable to zap mike@mikehardcastle.com, but looks like mhardcastle@getalby.com worked fine. (I hope that's you 😉). I'm using NWC with Cashu.me - which I believe is a very experimental wallet - so maybe that has something to do with it... I've been zapping plenty with it though for weeks now; and, this is the first issue I've run into... I've even been zapping from different clients. So, who knows? 🤷

I've had one other person say they can't zap me, but I didn't go into config details with them. I've been running with Albyhub and my own domain for a while and only had two reported issues and I send / receive zaps a lot. If you read my article I published on habla.news the json file that sits on my website, that effectively forwards the payment to mhardcastle@getalby.com is a little different to most json files (like Wallet of Satoshi), so maybe Alby have introduced some non backward compatible functions within their config.
