Being able to cultivate your feed is one of the best things about Nostr. 

I've noticed retarded takes tend to be ignored over here rather than exploding into adhominen exchanges. I've noticed I feel the desire to get into big disagreements with people I don't already respect.

Once I realise that someone's beliefs or logic are very limited, I tend to just walk away rather than battle it out. I think many have adopted this approach without algorithms being there to drive conflict. 

 Definitely. It’s one of the “features” I like. I feel in control. Seek, follow, unfollow, mute. No need to fight.
