“Restaurant chains point to rising labor costs as a key factor driving up prices.”
these articles only increase tension between the working class and corporations, conveniently omitting the source of the problem.
why are labor costs rising? could it be in response to asset inflation, in response to currency debasement? nostr:note1u7a6ulxnwe88424xsenryfgkftpn5qhnh5lgwh3520zpc4k8lz3qsyyu60
Sure, but how many restaurant owners can actually express that? Or even understand and it? They just know what they face : $20+/hr unskilled labor costs in addition to governmental mandated “benefits” for the multiple employees they must retain to cover the unreliability of the labor force they have.
many, I would imagine. however I’m highlighting the skew that corporate media adds. it’s the large legacy media business that perpetuates and stokes this, and never informs people of the root cause.
It’s almost as if the parasites want to create division along class lines and have themselves delineated from it….
With inflation all prices rise in lockstep. If something's skewed then there are other forces at work.
