First time on an erg in about ten years. Damn good way to start a workout, but mannn do I feel it 🔥
Coming back from an injury to a place of fitness is so empowering.
Doing motions that, in the past, would have risked re-injury, but instead feeling stronger. Rewiring the mental circuits from “it’s scary” to “I crave this”… it’s profound 🥹
It’ll be fun to see what my 1000m time (4:14) and stroke rate are in a month or so, because a steady-state 22 had me gasping this morning 😅

Hey Connie 👋 just the erg right now (as part of PT for an old injury). But I rowed for a few years as a teenager and enjoyed the experience! Ultimately, it wasn’t my calling, but it’s a beautiful sport — and there’s nothing like being on the water when the sun comes up 🌅
