And they built them better back then. Ask the many ppl who have old cars. They hold well.
New cars are worse. For example, Nissans had bad engines. A friend's 2-yo car stalled on the street and it will cost thousands to get a new engine when she still has payments on it. She was forced to buy another car cuz it's cheaper.

My car is over 10 years old and it is still running well and reliable but it isn't old enough to not have the tracking shit. Eventually the older cars will stop working unless you keep rebuilding it. At some point I think that becomes impractical. Maybe Im wrong though.

Im not sure. I just know all the cars got tracking years before I bought mine.
