When creating a website you choose which hashtags to show - it's not only about navigation, it's about what content is shown on the site. Main page shows everything you've selected (all hashtags you've chosen) by default, but you can choose specific hashtags for homepage in settings. Whenever you post something with selected hashtags it appears on the website. And "long form posts" are posts you can make using habla.news or highlighter.com - they have title, summary, and allow for formatting (links, lists, subtitles etc). Let me know if you have any more questions or feedback, thank!
Thanks for the explanation! Is there a theme that shows all of my content on the main page, and lets me choose hashtags for navigation? My ideal is to have everything accessible on the main page, then use the hashtags so folks can see just my art on a webpage, or just my writing on a webpage.
The site makes a separate page for every hashtag you use at /tag/hashtagname/ addresses, so you can add any of them into navigation in settings
Ok, cool, I thought that’s what it was doing, which is perfect for what I want. I think I misunderstood something in your first reply then….. 1. Does the main page always show all of my content? or 2. The hashtags I add (which also create navigation) affect what is shown on the main page? So the main page is all of the hashtags, but not all of my content?
You choose hashtags and posts with those hashtags will be on the site. We also add several of them into navigation when site is created. All those hashtags appear on homepage by default, but you then choose which of them will be on homepage in a separate setting in admin panel, and you can also change what appears in navigation. Does it make sense? Thanks
Yes …. Now that I see all the options in the admin panel. 🤩 I thought it was just the options when I first set up the site - now I see there is much more. Thank you for your patience. 🙏
