There’s a really nice KS going on called Pro Turf selling amazing grass Bloodbowl pitches. Being from the UK they made the decision not to register for VAT. For European backers that means awful surprises when the product comes through customs (up to +50% of the price counting shipping, very hard to dispute and win).

I was 100% sure I was backing this project until I saw it (and I’m lucky I got to the end of the page).

it's also a bit of a bullshit story - if you invest some time in it you can pretty easily find out how taxes apply in other countries. Given laat potentially most overseas backers will be EU based, the time investment versus the happy backers payout is worth it even more
