 Oh fuck
This is serious isn't ? What do you think about that ?
This is nothing new, it has more than a year that i read that document, i think they will do the fork when they have enough Bitcoin, its a matter of time.
Law enforcement will be with them.
And it's a easy move for the establishment to do it, mining is already centralized, they can censor ligthning transactions already, who don't comply will not be able to transact freely like nowadays.
Who needs a CBDC when they can program in what already exists?
I think you found the honey pot
There are more honey pots, Opensats, eCash, and goes on and on, people just need to pay attention, and read between the lines..

Devs are building for banks, not for people..

Blackrock don't play games that they can't control, they have senators in their pokets, what do you think about the one that only want NGU?

This was always an attack vector. We discussed this in the early years of Bitcoin, when adversarial thinking was still a common thing.

Separate money and state is a nice narrative upheld by Monero. Bitcoin over the course of the last years is about to become a merger between money and state. And no one even needs a hidden tax of 2% or a CBDC when you already have full sight of the whole network and can tax from 0 to 100% at will.

2% is insignificant in comparison to the grand scheme of things. Still Bitcoiners ride on its tailcoat as if it is the only thing that mattered.
