ikr! works insanely well and no popups whatsoever (very rare in Europe) i didnt know either found out bc of the nostr movie nights hosted by @Nosnvets (cant for the life of me recall what his nostr name is, but you know who i mean, artsy, moustache guy 🥹)
i’ve been using stremio, but it’s never been an option on my iPhone been using lookmovie.foundation so far (google it, not sure of the .foundation any more) also heard about wako TV on App Store, which is supposedly weirdly enough still available there

@5c508c34 I'm not one to really push sites like that to people🤷🏽 Like I want to make money with my films too so I feel like as much as possible I should just recommend films and have people figure out their own way to find it so it's not on me. BUT I found a film I couldn't find ANYWHERE else there, a notoriously impossible to find film. And since then I was like wow. This site. 🤷🏽

Don’t we already have that? Not with snort but primal and njump previews do that, and clicking in plays the video suuuper minimally (too minimally?)
i meant for the case when the vid is shared on other non-nostr platforms, to drag ppl in somehow so outside nostr
When I share links in iMessage I always use primal or more recently njump links and it does just that - but I’ve never tried sharing elsewhere. Do they not behave the same? Or do I misunderstand you?

only tech or media ppl know about this i haven't ever been anything close to that😂
when i allow DRM content to be displayed, and i have disabled display it, i get a nag on firefox, and i can't take screenshots of anything on my computer at all, and i can't upload png files, they all end up as blank colour boxes, same as the screenshots. this means the software is tampering with my X server memory access, which is essentially hijacking my computer.
What sorcery is this? Something like this for conferences with the ability to easily download for offline viewing would be great.
