That generation got everything as kids. I know because they are my siblings. As an Xer, I was lucky if I wasn't sitting out in the snow at 5pm waiting for my parents to get home. By the time the millenials came along, boomer parents had enough money that the kids got nice vacations, cars as teenagers, colleges of their choice. I don't buy that everything is against them now. 

 Definitely not the people I know … myself included 

 My exposure to millennials may be clouded by the extreme wealth we've been living with in North Texas since the 90s.
