I thought Iris development has been discontinued? Also there is a slight difference in "just" adding a clip to a note or in uploading clips, shorts and videos to nostr via sites like flare or zapstream. Notes disappear in the void while those platforms keep them visible since video content is their focus.  

 With iris seems like I can upload a clip when posting a note just like twitter. 

But yeah I can see how uploading to somewhere else and embed a link could be smoother
