Actually this year is warmer than normal, and I've read that the cause is that big volcano in the pacific which increased the amount of dihydrogen monoxide by 10%.  It should return to normal in a few years as the atmosphere rebalances it self by making the extra amount FALL OVER OUR HEADS.

now, this really should make one run to the hills.
