A lightning wallet is what you need. There are many to choose from but “Wallet of Satoshi” is the easiest. Download and enter your wallet address into Nostr.

How do I zap back with a lower amount than what looks like the minimum of 500 Sats?

I'm on #amethyst.
Try this: 👀 Long press on the zap icon instead of tapping it. You'll see a pop up where you can set your custom amounts.

You should be able to change default settings somewhere. So you dont accidentally fast zap to much.
You can add several defaults or quick zaps if you long press the zap icon. You can also link NWC if your wallet supports that for instant one tap to zap. Lastly, if you want to send something that isn't one of your defaults, you can double tap the ⚡.

I made an account, because hey why not, remains to be seen if it'll stay active. First impressions (using Snort) is that it's a little slow and conversations I've seen trending all seem to be a bit one dimensional (I get that it's crypto based but there are other subjects 🤣).
