@KoopaTV.org @Ardainian Right Fair enough, but when a "remake" is THAT ugly, and arguably has less content than Platinum, that's also a reason to save your money and just play Platinum again (you can transfer your best Pokemon over to some other game first if you're uneasy about deleting your old save file). Bad remakes and remasters come in many forms.
@Christi Junior @Ardainian Right Yeah, but my DS Lite's hinge basically fell off by now, and it's a lot better to be able to trade/battle with other people with my Nintendo Switch (which I can play on a much bigger and more comfortable monitor/screen) than on a DS. I will also continue to dispute your aesthetic preferences regarding ugly, but at least you concede that it's good they didn't "remake" the character designs to be ugl–... I mean, diverse and inclusive.
@KoopaTV.org @Ardainian Right >at least you concede that it's good they didn't "remake" the character designs to be ugl–... I mean, diverse and inclusive. Oh, absolutely, I'm all for updating/improving character designs, but hitting them with Global Standards will always be a change for the worse.
@Christi Junior @Ardainian Right @KoopaTV.org BDSP sucks because its ugly and decided to remake D/P without any of Platinum's additions like all other remakes did with their 3rd game versions, not even for the endgame. It even introduced shit like the new underground letting you catch mons that aren't in D/P or Platinum which would be fine if you weren't trying to say this is "faithful". The only good thing about it was changing how HMs worked and Cynthia being harder. There's no point in saying its a more faithful remake as an excuse.
