Currently dealing with a runaround to cancel a service and I can't believe the hell I'm in. I then completed the "do not sell my info" business on their website, for which they provide two choices: do not *sell* and do not *share* FFS 🙄 after which I get an email that I have to verify my address and then I get a message saying I WILL BE CONTACTED?!!??

We've seriously entered the madness state of capitalism now. No fucks are given anymore. The consumer can't fight this without a small army. 

 @148d3479 The one thing consumers *can* do is name and shame. It goes against the good manners we’ve all been taught, and feels kinda gross, but I don’t think these companies should be able to get away with their gross behavior with zero repercussions. They should be embarrassed about how they operate.
