They are their backwards lazy bumpkins because it’s impossible to starve there, everything grows easy so they just live and eat pho all the time whilst everyone else has to work. Pho is their poor people food. Not banh mi; bread is a luxury. Not even broken rice. Pho they never get bored of and get everything they need in one meal.
