I went to this restaurant on a mountain. But the food was absolute dogshit.
There was a silver lining though. Everyday in Cairo I come across friendly cats that like to be pet and are hungry. I never happen to have food for them, and feel bad every time.
But this time I was like, “You know what? Go to town.” So I gave it all to the cats. https://image.nostr.build/e840013ae6364a8ed2c7837289c167a2cfdd436d3bacb5339477080c69bdcba8.jpg https://image.nostr.build/c82a9040fb3c21cc1a8de337bd989dd3ad684d772f3d0a77f6793643e8b7be26.jpg
Plot twist: the cats are now cannibals
What are you in Cairo for?
Visiting my family. It’s my second home.
What made it so bad? Flavourless .. too much terrible favour? Curious about the cuisine in Egypt.
Cuisine in Egypt is great.
This restaurant is the worst I have seen. The steak looks like chicken. The sea bass looks like sardines. It all looks like a microwave dinner.
The chef is bad and they buy bad meat.
Maybe the meat was coming from stray cats. 😆
My first fine dining experience was in Casablanca, Morocco. 50$ for a salmon pate. Money doesn’t always buy class, But it does buy you food in a developing country.
Did you grab a burger on the way home?!
That restaurant must a favourite with the cats 😁
I’m sure the cats loved that kind gesture of yours!!
Maybe the cats have an arrangement with the chef?
You fed dogshit to cats ?
😉
Looks like a beautiful view though!
Lyns sense of humor: When life gives you dogshit, make cat food with it. 😏
Nice view. I wonder if others have fed the cats with their leftovers given the quality of the food.
A simple rule of life that I like to live by is to alway have some pocket meat at hand.
An empty restaurant is a big red flag for me.
often the case, all show & no go.
so, cats eating dogshit? uggh :)
