@388a5698 Inside wire rarely goes bad, most of the issues I saw when working with Comcast came from signal degradation outside the home that the cable modem wasn't able to adopt to. Deployment inside the facility is because they don't know better.
@0ce2b9e1 Does the timing make sense for that? Always around 4AM. Wonder if it would help to unplug the modem for an hour or so and let everything reset.
@388a5698 Well I can tell you that I have seen a tight time reset or loss of signal once and that was in Michigan. One of the routes of the cable went near an industrial facility and when they fired up for a shift everything downstream of that location would lose internet. 4 AM reset does lead me to an external event triggering the modem to reset. My normal debugging of this would be to swap the modem with a known working one from another field location and wait and watch.
