yeah they’ll definitely have to catch up a little bit, but sound quality has astounded me lately. spotify has gotten worse with sound quality lately
I don’t use Spotify but I do like the sound from my Apple Music 🎧

Indeed it’s great! Problem I have with Spotify is that they have now changed their payment for artists and my son now needs at least 1000 streams each year to just get paid the minimum which is outrageous for new artists! The only positive thing Tidal has is that it pays the artists the most out of all the streaming platforms.

Nah, Tidal is dope. Their suggestion algo is so much better than their competition. They need to play this up somehow in their marketing
Haven’t used tidal in a few months but imo it needs some upgrades to compete. The ease of use/navigation + catalog with Spotify made it hard for me to fully switch over to tidal, so I was using both for a while which isn’t worth the money. Not to mention the amount of podcasts and now audiobooks available on Spotify.
would love to see tidal make some podcast deals, i definitely know a lot of the gen z faves that would spend the money to listen to podcast on tidal. but you’re absolutely right, i do love their dj feature a lot tho
Yep, my favorite part of tidal was that it was compatible with a bunch of DJ softwares I used so I didn’t need to worry about buying and downloading songs onto my laptop, so that’s one big thing they have over Apple Music/spotify. If tidal makes some upgrades to other features I’d definitely go back.
