They don’t want to hurt anybody. 

 Everybody so scared all the time. If I hear "no worries" for no reason at all one more time.... 

 I think the sugar coating is for their own protection.. its almost like we're not allowed to say something upfront because it can be mis construed but by not saying anything at all, its a triple sugar overcoat 

 Same reason a blunt person is always considered an insensitive dick.

Nuance. 

 Yes, absolutely frustrating. Unfortunatelly, this has a lot to do not only with the families and environments they grew up in, but also their mothertongue language. Specifically English is a huge factor in this.  

 Children have no filter which means this is a learned behavior. Parents, schools, society, culture teach you this. 

 It’s because most people are still fully or partially immersed in the simulation and are concerned with what others think; they have yet to understand that this reality is but a dream. 

 Everyone has their own style of communication. Some people value tact, and others don’t.
