I have a little buddy and it is equivalent to a 120V space heater (about 1600 watts), the big buddy is more appropriate for larger spaces, such as 20'x20' and will be too much if you leave it on high in an insulated building. Also, obviously, crack a window because they use more oxygen than you do and its no fun for your relatives to deal with corpses.
