The ability of #nostr to expand and improve the lives of some should be at least curious to others; trying to understand what brings us here. At least when I started using it, I thought: “What bring them here, and not somewhere else?!”
Correct #nostr is one more way to choose to be free from the control that the individual believes to experience, it does not mean that there should be a mass adoption.
Yup. Mastodon/Fediverse is thriving with their current user base of slightly over 1 million users. Small is good. Only thing that sucks is messenger/social fragmentation.

I would be happy about bridges between messengers, fragmentation would be avoided. It’s the role that #nostr should play. Not that it is adopted massively.
I disagree... we need bitcoin to go mainstream, fiat is unsustainable, its litterally making us go backwards in terms of growth
The need for some should not be above others, the sovereign individual can decide if it is #Bitcoin what he needs for his growth, or fiat money. In none of the cases is mass adoption necessary for everyone.
I understand your point of view but fiat comes with many drawbacks. If we where all on bitcoin standard we wouldnt have to deal with theses problems. If the individual is paid in fiat, and then buy bitcoin with it, he is still subject to theses drawbacks, taxes and short term exposure to inflation. Maybe his bank wont allow his next dca. I just think a bitcoin standard would be simpler for everyone... They can buy into fiat if they think it's what they need for their growth 😅

Maybe it's just me being too agresive, you could be right. But I believe in the end, most people would rather be paid in sats.
Yes. If the cause is truly noble and better for everyone then people should come to realizations on their own terms. It shouldn't be a religion. It should not be forced unto anyone. I think this is why people get repelled from it. They should just be made aware of the existence and leave it at that.
Each sovereign individual decides what he feels fulfilled with or not. It can be #bitcoin it can be to have dollars, it can be just use #nostr because you can’t access information by another way or use other platforms such as X, IG, etc., every decision is respectable.
