 Never happened to me and I've run rather large amounts regardless of fees.

 
 A lot of people couldn't move their funds at one point because muun LN wallet isn't exactly what you'd expect from well, an LN wallet...so high fee environments can liquidate you on smaller amounts.

Maybe they've adjusted things idk, but people got rekt.

 I see. I don't know of any wallets that aren't affected at some point by network congestion.

This is not a flaw in muun wallet per se then is it? 
 A lightning wallet shouldn't have issue to make transactions during on-chain congestions because that's exactly why they are made for: be able to make instant transactions with very low fees without carrying of the on-chain network congestion/high fees. But muun is not a full lightning wallet, they make submarine swaps, it's more like a on demand lightning service, so when bitcoin network is congested is unusable  
 Thanks for the explanation amigo. I had heard about submarine swaps but never fully understood them.
