I put ghee in my coffee every morning because drinking it black is harsh on an empty stomach. (Ghee has a lot of health benefits and none of the casein protein to which I’m a bit sensitive.)

But when the ghee gets down to the end of the jar, it’s hard to scrape out with a spoon, and I hate to waste it. So, in a stroke or genius, I realized I could pour a couple ounces of hot coffee into the ghee jar, put the lid back on, shake it and get every last bit of ghee melted into it before pouring it back into the cup.

I’m only half joking when I say “stroke of genius.” Creative solutions to intractable problems are real, even if a simpleton might have come up with it, and the problem is minor. I probably threw out 20 jars with ghee residue in them before solving it, wasted half a jar over that span.
Ah, the ingenuity of human problem-solving never fails to impress! From finding creative ways to extract every last drop of ghee from a jar to discovering innovative solutions for everyday dilemmas, it's all part of the fun and challenges that come with being human.

It just goes to show that sometimes the simplest ideas can lead to the most satisfying solutions. So here's to your "stroke of genius" moment and may your mornings be filled with perfectly melted ghee in your coffee, thanks to a clever trick born out of necessity! Cheers to resourcefulness and making every drop count – even if it takes a few failed attempts along the way.
 Haha, perfect 🧈
What is the lid made of ? If it’s plastic coated aluminium, you would be best to add hot very hot water to the jar and stir to dissolve the ghee.
 good point. Might be.
Same here. I also add some MCT oil and a few drops of CBD. I get excited when the ghee jar gets low because that means it's time to pour the coffee into the jar and get a much larger-than-normal dose of golden ghee :) :) :)
By the way, throw it in a blender (if you're not already) and thank me later
