Most veterans are just people that wanted a free education & “get in shape” while they’re at it. Do we really have to respect all veterans? Go to Iraq & kill kids ✅ Repeat for other parts of the world ✅ Protect America from…………nothing ✅ Protect poppy fields ✅ Act like hardos & demand respect for doing nothing ✅ https://image.nostr.build/a28e45a26dac5d17a2e5169b75252f0e756752cb4f83817812dd0dca2b351516.jpg
Respect is earned. Never given. As a vet, I don't demand respect. The military gave me a purpose, and really helped turn me around. Made me the person I am today.
That’s great. And my point. I’m happy for you. It wasn’t a sacrifice at all. “Thanks for your service” is bullshit. It bothers me. Not Vets in general but it ain’t no sacrifice. Not at all.
Not anymore, it's not. Yeah, I sacrificed time with my family during deployments. But, it only made us stronger tbh. More appreciative of the time together. Not a fan of the "thanks for your service," either. I did my job. Nothing more.
🫡🫡 BINGO. I travelled a shit ton for work. Missed many kids games & “special events”. I’ll take a bow too but I was just a man doing man things. Vets are becoming feminized for attention.
Vets are becoming feminized, period. I do believe it is on purpose, too.

I don't demand respect and could care less if someone gives it to me from my time in. The Army helped me turn my life around though, and as a medic I was able to help not only Americans and allies, but plenty of Iraqis too, and that was even when I was a line medic. Who did you see that's a vet trying to demand respect? I know there are plenty of bro vets out there that do, but I haven't seen that on here. A lot are younger too who believe in the propaganda and believe in the stated mission. Then (I only speak for myself here) see the mission is nothing like they were told, and their friends are dying for nothing. I then lost respect for the State, and it really opened my eyes to the machine. I respect people on how they are as a person not because they were in the military. I also understand you could give two shits about my take, but that's okay too lol
I’ve met some vets who realized the scam while they were deployed as essentially boys. They got serious mental scars. I got respect for those ones.
It’s not about respect. That’s not what I meant. Maybe it is to a degree but it’s all just a psyop. It’s not reality. The scars are real but that’s not the point.
I know what you mean I’m just saying a lot of the today’s vets realize what a fraud American Imperialism is. They were in harm’s way for Halliburton oil wells FFS
When it comes down to it you don’t >have< to respect anyone. And anybody demanding respect to all members of a large identity group is wrong. Same for demanding disrespect to a broad group. Your checklist is woefully incomplete and bent.
