Your pre surgery prep :-) what was the surgery for? No worries if your not sharing that.
I’m happy to share because it’s actually a frustrating story and I’m one of millions of women.

About 6 months ago, I basically woke up in excruciating back and side pain, went to the E.R., was told it was nothing.

Pain didn’t go away so I kept going back to the hospital or primary care where I was diagnosed with sciatica, muscle strain, kidney stones, etc.

I did happen to have a kidney stone, but when it passed the pain didn’t go away.

I kept going back to the Dr… He didn’t know what to do so he prescribed physical therapy.

I did that for two months and that didn’t help.

Finally I started researching my own symptoms and reading up on different diagnoses.

Every single symptom listed for endometriosis, I had. I asked my doctor, he said he didn’t think so.

I went home/still in pain and called to self-refer for an OBGYN evaluation for endometriosis.

The wait to be seen for endometriosis? At least 3 months.

Got there. She wasn’t sure if I had it, then she did an exam and changed her mind/referred me for surgery.

Endometriosis is when the tissue inside the uterus grows outside and around surrounding organs. It can be very painful, but since it’s uterine tissue, when the menstrual cycle happens, this tissue bleeds too, but has nowhere to go. It causes internal bleeding.

Anyways, she found the endometriosis growing on my back and was able to remove it so I should get to return to a pain-free life, finally.
I really appreciate the detailed run down. I was with you and rooting for you during the passing of the kidney stone. It's really refreshing to hear that you stayed on track and dug into a self diagnosis that in the end, led to your correct diagnosis and then the correct path forward for moving through it. Wow, what an experience. These things happen and we gather a lot of energy for the days that lye ahead so that we can deal with them in alignment and with courageousness. You are amazing and I bet that now that you know what you don't want, you now know more clearly than ever what it is that you do want. Oh the joy :-) My wife know a ton about these kinds of things. I will share this with her and let you know if she has any healing remedies to share with you.
There’s very few doctors who feel comfortable treating endometriosis.
Most women wait years for a diagnosis and are turned away or were told “it was all in their head”. I was just lucky I had good insurance so I could self-refer. It’s kind of funny that I diagnosed correctly before the doctor. Definitely ask your wifey. Anything and everything. It’s not the worst recovery, but it’s not like super comfortable either
She says be careful of damp foods. So, no dairy, bread, noodles, sugar, processed foods, potatoes, no nightshades, coconut milk, and no alcohol. Pretty much noththing from a box. I know you guys don’t drink alcohol. No coffee. No bad oils, no refined sugars, no refined carbohydrates (white enriched foods). Things that are good are going to be whole foods like brown rice, whole grains. Internal arnica will be good. You need to focus on healing your digestive system since it’s probably shot right now. She would talk with you if you’re interested.
Whole grains are my shit! I’m gonna have to give up coffee for a bit 😭

The doctor literally told me it was cool if I smoke weed, but I just have to wait till tomorrow
 Eating weed it is!
I knowww. I have a tincture I could use, but it’s not the same
