I think people should still have a good nostr experience even if they haven't yet accepted your correct opinion on the state of software sovereignty. This is why I am working so aggressively on making damus cross-platform. I think building *only* on apple is a mistake and will be limiting to nostr clients building there.
I do too, but I don't necessarily agree that telling newcomers (who have already landed on Primal, Amethyst, etc) the best way to experience Nostr is through a closed Apple ecosystem just because they need help with something in Amethyst, Primal, etc. That's what spurred this thought for me. I see it quite a lot and I think it only reinforces the Apple model, which is awful in my opinion. It's great that you're working to get Damus (and Nostr) to more people, I can't wait to try it if it works with GrapheneOS, but I'm not going to steer people away from projects that are already here and better align (today) with what I think is the general Nostr ethos.

Obviously, opinions are just opinions, and mine aren't strictly focused on growth over principles that may very well be dogmatic.

Thanks for the response.
I happen to think that many of my opinions probably should NOT be strictly accepted by everyone. But I also think a push and pull is important for things like Nostr, Bitcoin, etc. Maybe we land somewhere in the middle and have a great experience for the maximum number of people, including extremists like me.
I look forward to the Android version!
