pretty sure it's basically two steps: - run a gstreamer or VLC pipeline to convert the video to a series of images (eg, sample an image, skip N frames, repeat), outputting a directory of jpg/webp images - then a simple bot that uploads and posts the next image from this queue every so often, remembering where it is
ahh looks like that does about 3-4 posts a day, and captures a frame every few seconds. not literally every frame 😀 not as as i imagined kinda want to do this for Ergo Proxy now 🙂
