lol, I’m not a huge fan of snakes but I don’t worry about them too much either. There were brown snakes around where I grew up, we would see a few each year in summer as kids. You just learn to be aware to watch out for them and they generally keep away from you anyway.

I found a brown snake in the bushes at Aldinga scrub a couple of years back. I’d seen an echidna there about a week before and when I heard a noise in the bush I thought maybe it was another one but turned out to be a snake instead 🤣 It was looking very alert but I just moved away and it was fine..

Nope rope! 😂 The non-venomous ones get a pass at our house but the copperheads and water moccasins get dead. Not taking a chance with the kiddo running around. I don't engage with either though 🐔 I'm a chicken and levitated about 3 feet when I came across a garter snake while mowing, lol.

Have you ever seen a eastern racer? If you are walking through the woods they will sit up, rising off the ground and look at you. It’s freaky. They are completely harmless but it’s fun to convince people with you to run away because the snake will chase after them back and forth any direction they go. The snake isn’t really chasing them though. It sees that you are big and running away so it is running away from whatever you are running away from. Hahaha
