I love the wallet
The app warns you to keep it open while scanning for on chain deposits which can make transferring on chain sats in a bit stressful with higher fees. Is this just a UI byproduct from the unified addresses? Are the on chain addresses just derived from the mnemonic so they're always valid or is it a swap address that could expire?
Guys. Can one change Federation without loosing funds from the current one?
I would not recommend hitting remove federation without moving funds out of current one. I removed a fedi with no funds to try adding another and the wallet didn't remember my previous fedi. Looks like one fedi at a time. I don't know if the keys generated in mutiny recover esats from a federation.
All ecash is backed up across all federations. However, we mostly recommend against it for the reason described above. If you forgot the federation you were in, if they delisted, if they shut down, etc.
Need a "send max/all" button for quickly doing this. Look at my balance, create an invoice, payment denied because I dont have enough to cover fees, recreate invoice, finally send successfully, have to figure out what to do with small remaining balance, probably end up with 1-2 sats that become unspendable. Bad UX.
There is so much cool tech that this stuff is starting to get confusing, and I'm tech savy, I can't imagine how overwhelmed the average Joe must feel with this stuff. Federations, Cashu, lightning, sidechains, ordinals = head spinning. I know ordinals isn't worth anyones real time but it's still a thing that most will need to wrap their heads around. nostr:note1638q0h93tj43lvyjgh6nlwdtgnrn0nyk2p73yyrwlekcllalvlnsp7n92l
