Pulled a muscle on my back while climbing years ago and, to this day, it still bothers me whenever I do intense shoulder workouts 🥲
What have you done to try and fix it?
When I first injured it, I didn't do much. I thought it wasn't a big deal even if I couldn't climb for two months 😅

The past year, every time I’ve “pulled” it again, I’ve gotten massages and done some stretching. So…haven’t done enough to tackle it.

I only think about it when I pull it and it starts bothering my neck and arm 🙃
So I’ve seen some research that stretching actually isn’t good for you and can leave you more susceptible to injuries. Have you tried icing it or relaxing it with warm water or anything like that?
I've read that too! Which is why I haven't done a lot of stretching, but then again I wouldn't know what's the ultimate fix.

Warm compresses and ice help a little. A visit to the chiro helps too!
Those are good options but I recommend that you look into high intensity training (not to be confused with high intensity interval training). Maybe strengthening the muscles in a safe way is what you need. I wrote a post about it a while back if you’re interested.
Interesting. Would you mind sharing the link to the thread? Always open to trying something new!
