There should be a way in CSP or Photoshop or fuckin' in your phone's camera roll to just ASSIGN alt text to a photo/picture so no matter where it's uploaded it will automatically populate the alt text. 

 @31fd60e3 That'd be an excellent metadata standard, if there's any formats that natively support that. PNG does with arbitrary fields (IIRC), but I dunno if JPG does.
