I'm getting a lab drawn & a fully grown woman is dictating how she hates needles & to not let her know "it's coming" & to not touch her etc. Nothing seems to be wrong except she's an attention grabber. 
"It's the thought of it being inside my arm."

-I hate the needle because the pinch, but whatever. 
She's taking forever going point by point.
Woman, there are ten of us that have fasted & we would like to be done without your narrative. She's going on about her issues for going on 45min now.

I hate needles but I just tell the phlebotomist, "I might pass out," and usually they talk to me while doing it and make sure I'm good to go after. No holdups, no special needs. Just want to get it over with, not sit around thinking about it lol
