Exactly. The media and administration using the word "shooting" here instead of "assassination attempt" downplays the significance and is designed to fit into their anti gun narrative which is a major deflection from the rhetoric they used to inspire this.
Well I will admit I used shooting in my show title today but it as more about character length for a title. Assassination is long as word and assassination attempt is a long longer than shooting. That said I don't think my reason and their's is the same. 😂
