Oh, he will. He’s a loved horse. But as far as preparation for death, he will kept medication wise appropriate for lion food use. It’s a lot of meat and people don’t like it…but lions eat $$$$ a lot of meat and they like horse, or so I’m told.

And yes they do but depends on what type of medication he has as one lion sanctuary in SA almost lost a lion due to euthanasia medication given and they weren’t told about it.
Yeah, they have a program to take delivery of the horse and say good by…they take care of the final EOL details.
