After trying on a pair of HOKA sneakers, I ended up not going with them despite how comfortable they felt. I just couldn’t get past the appearance, they seemed over-designed and too much emphasis was placed on form over function.

Today I went to the ECCO store after reading some reviews and ended up with a pair of the newest edition Biom 2. What I like most about them is the rigidity in the sole that keeps me from bending my toes too far, which is the source of most of my lingering pain from the surgery back in November. These should be much better than the slip-on Skechers I’ve been wearing since then, and they were about the same price as HOKA. I’m on my feet a LOT now at @PUBKEY so this really matters.

Oh, and they have orange highlights—a big plus!

Those look nice. I don’t need running shoes at the moment, I mostly just do a lot of walking and going up and down stairs. My wife wears ASICS and I’ll probably get a pair when I need them.
A+ no notes thank you for sharing with us
may your back pain ease & ease & ease away. 🕊️ may the 6th month mark have you right as rain 💜
 Those look pretty good ngl
 I like Hoka's and Kuru's.
Read about the benefits of minimal shoe support. Could work.
I like the look of the Hoka.
Some people swear by them, but it’s not for me.
