There is not fertile male duribg this season in northern hemisphere, but if you live in southern hemisphere you must know when is the proper time for mating. If your queen cell will be ready till that time left them alone to requeen naturally.
If you live in northern hemisphere you should buy a fertile queen, retire the old one and introduce the new one to the hive.
(Sorry about my English)
Your English is better than mine and I’ve been speaking it all my life!
It’s spring here and all the bees are very active I think it’s an ok time for mating.
There are drones in my hive 🤞🏻they might get the job done.
I’ll look into getting a mated queen just in case they don’t succeed in the overthrow of the existing monarchy.
Hopefully your queen finds different drones to get the job done or you might have worker bees that look Tasmanian 😋
"Always buzzing with creativity! 🐝✨ Who needs drones when we've got a hive full of unique talents? Let’s celebrate the beauty in our differences! 🌈"
It's kind of you dear Jen.
So don't worry. Let them do their job.
