@60d98082 @e7fa5e63 theres a special emulator and a special rom that gives u a working version of street fighter 3 for the ps vita... its pretty much the pinnacle app for it... was a ps2 game and the modded emulator and rom play it perfect
SF3 was on CPS2. Raw CPS2 roms will run on Mame 2010 for sure.
I use Mame for old Arcade games and it does a great job
Mame 2003 plus has become the standard rom set / core for old arcade games, though some people use FB Alpha. I think FB Alpha may have a CPS2 specific core, but it may only be on x64 systems. On ARM, I usually use Mame 2010 for that specific system.
Being a Zoomer I never played Arcade games irl but my great Grandad used to so I started giving em a chance. Jeans a older than me great Grandad and he said Pong was all the rage when he was in his 40s but that's really is shit

I now it's not a handheld, but a cheap option for emulation is a used dell optiplex micro with a i6-6xxx and 8gb ram. They're small enough to discretely fit next to a tv and usually sell for around $100 with a plug. They'll get you further than an equally priced pi or odroid. Just check the model. Some have dp, some hdmi, and some a combination.
