What some people fail to realize is that hope and numbers do have meaning, even if they don't immediately change every wrong you see in the world.
It could be the case that someone else sees how many people care about people like Ross, Bitcoin, etc and move us in a better direction politically down the road. Humans have a hard time appreciating how little decisions today can matter decades from now.
Yielding to politicians with absolutely no pushback isn't going to help things more than voting even if you don't see the impact right now. Sometimes just being a wrench in a gear is enough to change history for the better.
