Same with cabbage. When you order cabbage from a wholesale, it’s marked as ‘red cabbage’ even though it’s CLEARLY purple.

Here’s one for y’all: yam…or sweet potato? (The red yams 🍠) I always want to call them sweet potatoes. Once I got a whole case of actual sweet potatoes and not red yams (they’re white flesh sweet potatoes) and was like…what the hell do I do with these? 

 hahaha these are great! I think I call it purple cabbage, so this is fascinating to learn that this is also a debate. 

Now for the sweet potatoes and yams, I can never tell when I am at the market. I feel like they dont know either. hahaha
