Hairless cats look weird. Because they don't have fur, these cats require special care. I googled it, "The first thing you should know about caring for a sphynx cat is that they need frequent baths. Fur helps separate oils and sweat from the skin of other animals. Because of their lack of fur, sphynx cats have incredibly oily and sweaty skin. This means this breed needs weekly baths to maintain healthy and clean skin." You also have to protect their skin from the sun, and you can't let them get too cold in the winter. Why would anyone want a hairless cat? I think they are ugly. I'm sorry. It's not their fault. I don't think humans should have bred such an animal.
@LuvGreenTea2019 I guess they're for people that really want a cat but don't want to deal with cat hair. Although I think people that are allergic to cats (those poor souls) are still allergic to sphynx cats because they still have dander. https://media.spinster.xyz/9a3f50f4b8b71a3ed63b8d01bea8bc0213fa73939dfa9bcc0ac7802b7fe60f3f.jpg
I think it's cruel for humans to breed a cat that doesn't have fur. It's not in the best interest of the cat. They need special care because they don't have fur (sunburn in summer and cold in the winter). It's all so people don't have to deal with cat hair. Well, hell. You have a cat. You have to deal with some cat fur. Sphynx cats look like strange aliens to me.
@LuvGreenTea2019 I think a lot of the designer cat breeds are unethical because they're promoting mutations that can affect cats' health just because they look "interesting". Like flat faced cats, munchkins, and Scottish folds.
