Likely the cache. Go to the app settings, click on storage, then click empty cache.

Do NOT empty the data, as that will kill your nsec, too. 😅  

 I keep doing that, then it reappears

 when you clear the cache, it goes to zero, but if i exit the app setting and go back in, its the same number 

 That's odd. 
You may need to uninstall and reinstall it.
