We thought about getting some walking ducks, from the neighbor, but then we need to put up a fence. Have to chop down some trees, first.
And they poop everywhere.

We used to have some. Really great animals. But you definitely need a fence and a water basin or something similar. The poops weren't too bad for us. The ducks weren't on the lawn or patio much. And it's all gone after a rain. They can be a bit noisy sometimes. Better than any guard dog. Oh yes and you have to make sure they don't get taken by the fox. We've had a few losses 🥹
We had bunnies until recently, but they both died last year.
The hunting birds were always eyeing them.
