 If I spent the time to dig into the code and build this out myself and submit a PR what's the likelihood of it getting approved? Maybe have it as an option within the Appearance settings to enable/disable? @jb55

 Eh i did that on damus web and didn’t like it much, maybe if someone implemented it and convinced me/others it was a good idea

 One thing im doing on notedeck is when you hover over the “replying to *note*” specifically the note, it will show a hover popup of the note you’re replying to. Not a mobile solution, but retains the compact timeline
