 Ive had more bad hotel experiences than bad airbnb experiences but on percentage basis the airbnb side is worse and a higher risk to begin with.

I'll still consider an airbnb, but not when timing is critical with a large event in the area that everyone is going to. Had too many convenient cancellations by the host just so they could turn around and list the same period for 40 to 50% more.

When an AirBNB workd out its awesome though
