Remove Moments, along with the like and reply push notifications for notes. 2. Remove Channels. 3. Simplify the UI. 4. Replace secret chat with NIP-104 DMs. 5. Replace private groups with NIP-104 groups. What do you think?🤔

No. Moments are great and makes the app seem part of nostr, maybe moments to see for contacts? Remove channels that are supposed to be for chatting?! The ui is beautiful and simple already, fucking crybabies. Is 104 done or JeffG still working on it i.e yes/no.
Nip 104 is dead I thought? It had some flaws such as device affinity, making it pointless? The author moved onto MLS?
Simplified UI is the way. Tons of other clients do the "social media" stuff, dont really have a dedicated messaging client (besides nostr:nprofile1qqsth7fr42fyvpjl3rzqclvm7cwves8l8l8lqedgevhlfnamvgyg78spzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7d6t5xn, but I think 0x and keychat are trying to accomplish different stuff).
My opinion is that you should remove NIP-104, whatever that is, and keep only NIP-17.
NIP-104 is MLS (a newish messaging protocol) over Nostr. @JeffG speaks about it here: https://youtu.be/PWKd9aoZ-Cg Looks very promising, but not ready to be implemented into clients yet.

I think it still early to remove channels but must be done at some point I think there should be more compatibility with linking the invite of nip29 groups on other clients and outside nostr with a link or something not just the QRCode.
I'd love to help you integrate the nip-104 MLS stuff when it's time. At the moment though, I would definitely not recommend trying to integrate what's in the spec as much of it has changed already in my implementation. I'm still working on the implementation so as soon as that's ready, I'll have a bit of library code that will help you integrate more quickly and, like I said, I'll be happy to help out as much as I can.
I love 0xChat. It has undoubtedly evolved into a beautifully designed well working chat app. The ecash functionalities have been also built in so seamlessly and everything just works. I just wish you would get rid of the "Discovery" tab. I have really no use for it. The app should be limited purely to chats imo. And I find the “Requests” tab under “Contacts” a bit confusing somehow. Maybe request should just pop up under “Home”?
